The
word ‘white’ coming from a mistranslation of the Afrikaans description
for ‘wide’ is the more realistic description for this mighty African
mammal. This was my inspiration when sculpting the piece imaging him as a
square anvil like force created from the earth itself with formidable
power and grace, yet as a sculpture also contemporary.
We are offering the Rhinoceros Bust as a made to order piece as part of our Edge Sculpture Classic Series and available in either a Brown or White finish. Therefore, now only available to order from ourselves directly.
